Default Need HELP hooking up all my stuff (TV-RECEIVER-CABLE-BLUERAY)
Hi again

I'm in the process of putting together my HT (nothing big, just enough to enjoy movies at home)

I have a 52 LCD SHARP TV with ... SONY Blueray & Illico (CABLE) & a receiver

I dont know much about wiring and stuff and would like to save a few 100$ by setting up everything myself.

I did talk to some people at work and 2 options keep coming up... I would like more opinions please....

1st ... HDMI the Blue Ray Player / Illico into the receiver... and HDMI the receiver in the TV?

2nd ... HMDI the Blue Ray Player / Illico into the TV ... and HDMI the TV to the receiver?

- Whats the difference between these 2 setups?
- Is it as easy as that? I mean 3 HDMI cables ... everything is hooked up and will work fine?

Thanks for your help.

Also, if anyone has good web sites to read and to learn about this kind of stuff I would appreciate links
