Why are there still Paramount trailers on the PSN? - Blu-ray Forum

i was just on the psn and there are 2 new trailers and both are paramount anybody have an idea why

Just because Paramount went over to the other side, doen't mean they will stop advertising their theatrical releases on a platform that supports Blu-ray.

They still are showing Bee Movie Trailer downloads, because it's Speilberg, does it have a chance at coming to Blu-Ray?

It's not Spielberg, it's Steve Hickner and Simon J. Smith.... So no, unless something changes between now and the release date to video, it won't come to Blu-ray.

Also, they show trailers for all kinds of movies on the PSN, it doesn't have anything to do with Blu-ray supporting studios.

Funny, I don't think I've ever seen a Universal title though... But still, I'm surprised Sony isn't so angry that they remove them anyway.

I was wondering this myself, why advertise Paramount movies when they aren't even releasing their movies on Blu-ray. Oh well, maybe there's still hope later

i saw spielberg in one of the trailers. so i thought he was part of the movie in some way.

they'll put up trailers for whoever wants to pay them

However Blu companies might get better rates. Microsoft does this with Live

I was on the Playstation store yesterday and went to the movie trailer section and saw that the Transformers trailer was still available for download. I would have thought that Sony would've removed it after Paramount defected to HD-DVD. Oh well.

Just in the movie trailer download section, doesn't have anything to do with Blu-ray...

just like they still have the bee movie trailer but thats from dreamworks but it is kind of odd its almost kind of like saying here is a trailer of a movie you wont see on blu-ray until a very long time
