PSN issue with downloading trailers - Blu-ray Forum

I did a search and can't find anything similar....

When I try to download some trailers like the MIB Blu-ray trailer from PSN, I get a message where it tells me something like content has to be installed before I can download it in the background.

Has anyone else seen this? It's not with all trailers.

For what its worth, I am on 2.40 - had no issues with the upgrade, but it did it before that too.

There is something in your 'Games' section on your XMB that has to be installed. Until that is installed, it won't let you INITIATE a background download. You can have background downloads going so long as those background download titles were added to your XMB "Download Management" section prior to game content downloads being complete.

Yeah, but the thing is background downloading works on 90% of what I pull from PSN.

It's just a couple of trailers.

Nevermind - I get it, I have all these demo's I've downloaded but haven't installed - let me clear that queue and see if it fixes it.
