This is good news! It's about time this film was released on blu ray. This film has always been a favorite of mine. Although it would probably seem quaint and old fashioned to modern day audiences, the film has its charms, and it features one of Don Knott's best performances.

Confusing sequel to the The Ghost and Mrs. Muir. But if you look at it on its own, then it's a pretty funny movie.

I'd be happier if the Blu-ray were a double-feature disc with THE RELUCTANT ASTRONAUT.

I actually saw the GHOST AND MR. CHICKEN/RELUCTANT ASTRONAUT double-feature at a Saturday afternoon matinee in 1969 when I was ten.

I remember watching this and "The Incredible Mr. Limpet" on TBS when I was a kid. (Back when the channel was a UHF station in Atlanta.)

OMG! My two young sons have already worn out one DVD of this movie, and are on their way to wearing out a 2nd copy! They will be ecstatic when they see it has come out on Blu-ray!

There are SO MANY great lines from this movie:

"Atta boy, Luther!"

"Why don't you run up an alley and holler 'fish'!"

"ALL the Simmons' had the Simmons eyes"

"Calm? Do 'murder' and 'calm' go together? 'Calm' and 'murder'?"

"BANG! Right on the head!"

"... and they used Bon Ami"

"The horribleness and awfulness of it will never actually be forgotten"

"Let me clarify this"

"Taro! Caro! Salamond!"

"That electrician must be a Democrat"

and dozens more...
