Default Essential horror Blu-ray to watch for Halloweeny?

Despite my ongoing obsession with buying blurays, any and all non horror movies I buy from here until Halloweeny (yes, I am 24 and I call it "...weeny") will be viewed upon the closure of said holiday.

With that being said, I plan to watch 1 horror bluray a night until the 1st. If you had to choose any 1 horror bluray to watch, which would you choose and why?

I spit on your Grave.

Just so you can see a woman take revenge on men.

And Piranha.

I don't need to say anymore. Blood and Boobs. Two things that go together good like Peanut Butter Cups and Gore.

Underworld
30 Days of Night
The Mist
The Descent
The Lost Boys
Psycho
Let Me In
From Hell

Trick r treat, I think that movie captures the "halloweeny" atmosphere better than any other movie taking place in the fall. And its a great movie all around.

Never saw The Shining but I never blind buy blurays so I am stuck. For the life of me I find the god awful 30 days sequel bluray everywhere but the original is no where to be seen lol.

For me, the original Halloween and Halloween II, plus Trick R' Treat, really capture the essence of the holiday itself.

Agree, got it. Got the hottest werewolves anywhere. Wouldn't mind that black werewolf taking a bite out of me.

The 2 essential to me are Halloween and Dawn of the Dead, both the originals.

There are to many for me to list but a few off the top of my head are:

Trick R Treat
Halloween(original)
The Hills Have eyes (remake)
The Shinning
Texas Chainsaw Massacre(remake and Original)
Sleepy Hollow
Darkness Falls
Alien
The Exorcist
Hocus Pocus(I know not horror or a blu but its a great family halloween film that I grew up watching and would LOVE if Disney gave it a blu-ray release)

Slither is a good underrated Horror/Comedy with little worm creatures. Wish it would get a blu release.

This thread's been done before, but I'll bite. So far this Halloween season, I have watched:

The Thing (1982)
The Shining
Halloween II
Let Me In
Drag Me to Hell
Zombieland

I didn't watch these though because of the holiday--I just happen to like horror and watch it all year round. I am bummed though that the new Evil Dead II release won't be in my hands before Halloween night.

I think it's solid, but way overrated by its fans. You are correct though that it captures the feel of Halloween very well. I'll probably watch my copy before the season is done.

No joke, stooge. Not only do you have a respectable cluster of horror titles going, but you put it at the top of your list.

Question though:
Why buy both Star Wars trilogies and cheat yourself out of all the extras that came with The Complete Saga?

As much as I hate to agree with Dwight Schrute, I'll say "The Crow". Not strictly a horror movie, but a must watch movie at Halloweeny.
