Day After Tomorrow disc problem? - Blu-ray Forum

I don't know if anyone else experienced this, but when my main menu comes up and i select the play button, the movie doesn't play. Its just a black screen that doesn't go anywhere. I actually have to hit the skip scene button to play it. One thing i noticed is if there is no animation on the background of your main menu and its just a black screen, the movie won't play when you select it. Once i check out the special features and go back to the menu, the animation shows up and the movie would then work. This is kinda bothering me since i don't know if its normal or just my disc having a problem.

What are you playing it on?

I'm hearing buzz about possible firmware updates for some players.

BD+ ....that is all I have to say.......yah firmware will most likely take care of that issue.

I'm using it on my PS3 on the latest firmware too

maybe its supposed to be compatible with the newer firmware thats coming soon thats just my guess

i had an issue with it, but with loading time it takes forever to load.
