Default The LOL of the day...

Hope this fits in the general discussion but feel free to put it in offtopic if it doesnt

Anyway, this is a small story from today at work.

Me and a buddy at work are discussing the PS3 (I have one and he is thinking about getting one) and I start arguing that you get a lot of value in the PS3, particulary the BD player integrated in the machine.

So this lady in the booth next to me (I work with insurance administration) gets interested. She starts blabbering on about her silly husband who always goes out and buys the damnedest most expensive stupid stuff. And now he had bought a big full HD Sony LCD flatscreen. But what the heck did they need that for?! They didnt have anything that could fully use that thing anyway. She sounded more and more pissed off.

So I said "Really? Well you know there are movie formats out there that would be perfect with that TV? HD-DVD and Blu-ray are both full HD formats".

And she goes "OH!? What is this Blu-ray? That sounds cute and weird". And I go on to explain that its just a gimmick thing related to it using blue laser technology. But the SECOND I mention that Sony is involved with Blu-ray she goes "OH!? Really? Sony sells Blu-ray players like that? I love Sony".

So the whole thing ends with her ordering a Sony BDP-S300 player

This thing really cracked me up

So +1 customer for BD on account of me
