Is this simply a money grab? As far as I know, the full season has been filmed and is not being split into 2016.

Also, for the second consecutive season the BBC "has" cut the season from 13 to 12 episodes with the Christmas Special acting as the 13th (but not being included in the season box set). More greed, it seems.

You're on blu-ray.com remember, and digital purchasing sends the wrong message. Just get the part one and part two releases, they're coming out super fast.

I'm holding off until a complete Series 9 is released. Probably close to when Series 10 premieres.

That might be a long wait. I read that Moffet may delay season 10 a bit so that he is available for Sherlock (meaning he is waiting for Cumberbatch and Freeman to have time). Of course, the BBC won't wait to make their money.
