Hi, quick Receiver questions - Blu-ray Forum

Hey guys, first off... I'm new to this forum. Been reading for a few months and finally registered today. I'm all for Blu.. Okay my question is this.. I've been shopping around for receivers and i found the Pioneer Elite VSX-81TXV online for 629 shipped and wondered what everyone thought. I know they have the 91 out now but i didnt see any differences (except for the dolby true hd and dts hd). but I have a ps3 and as far as I know it should send out the uncompressed pcm to this right? Any info would be great!

I have the same exact model...love it.

I bought a pioneer at bestbuy and returned it because the right speaker input sounded like crap. I bought the Onkyo TX-SR605 instead for 500$ and it does everything i want it too, i suggest you look into it before going with pioneer.

The pioneer i had was a different and worse model then that one though.

definately take a listen to the dts-hd ma before you make that decision sound quality is phenom love my 91 very high quality

does anyone know if there are any differences between last years 81 and this years 91?
