Quick Netflix Questions

Hey guys I just got a free month of Netflix and I had a few QUICK questions about the service.

If it ships my movies on Monday what time should they arrive? Wednesday or more later like Friday?

How are they on shipping Blu Rays? Same as DVDs?

Plus I added Godfather part 1 and 2 to my list on Blu. Since it comes out on Tues..will they ship those 2 on Tues or will there be a long wait?

I recall hearing either Blockbuster or Netflix was SUPER SLOW with Blu Rays and I was just curious.

I usually get my movies in a day, so if it ships on Monday I get it Tuesday. If you get the first crack at new releases then they ship on Mondays usually, but the blu's quickly go on a long wait. There stock of blu's is definalely less that dvds. I find them to be pretty fast if what you're looking for is in stock.

Awesome! Another question.. after they send me my first 3.. do I need to send all 3 back at once or whenever? Plus.. once I send them back does it take them off my list?

I assume you have 3-at-a-time unlimited subscription. If that the case, you can send them back all at once, or one at a time, and keep them however long you want to. Yes, once they receive the movie back your account reflects the return and it sends the next movie in your queue.

they ship out as they recieve them. You send one they send one and so on, and for shipping times it depends how close to the shipping center you are. mine take a day.

Awesome! Is there a way to check where the closest shipping center is?

honestly I don't know, I just know there is a center here in Kansas City. You may check their website I'm not sure.


edit- it shows the nearest facility on the return label.

They will usually ship your movies from your shipping location, but there will be times they ship movies from other regions. I have been unlucky with them shipping me four movies in the last couple of months from all over the country. It takes about three days to get to you depending on how far they are shipping it from. I live in FL so shipping from Cali can take several days. I called them about it, but the customer rep says they can not control movies being sent out. I have mostly all BD's in my queue so I guess it is mostly on me.

I can personally votch for my self that about 1/4 of them movies on my list are in bluray. And when it comes next on my list it ships the same speed as the reg DVD do. yes the stock of blu is way less but if they say they have it on blu then i can say they will ship it the same as dvd. As far as shipping IF I send a movie back on monday, they get it on tuesday, send the next the samne day and iget get my new one on wednesday. thats me though
