Terrific PQ, they did an outstanding restoration job for this unforgettable, universal masterpiece directed by Tonino Valerii in 1973.
It's from the same company which restored/remastered on BD the Sergio Leone Dollars Trilogy. http://www.dvdweb.it/index.mv?126935...a_DVD+MHE21497 ![]() Last edited by UniSol GR77; 03-30-2010 at 05:25 PM. |

![]() For a Fistful of Dollars (Per Un Pugno Di Dollari) is from a studio called RHV, and has both English DD Mono and English subtitles. The restored version on Blu-ray is excellent, I own it. And for importing from Italy, I prefer dvdland.it, there shipping costs are a little better: Order Total: € 0,00 - € 24,99 - shipping fee € 12,99 € 25,00 - € 79,99 - shipping fee € 19,99 € 80,00 - € 120,00 - shipping fee € 28,99 But, for a single title, I first try eBay.it, as I can often find the title for the same or less, with shipping around 8 euro. EDIT: Just bought a copy from eBay.it (eBay Italy), new & sealed, 14.90 euro + 5.50 shipping. dvdland.it's price is 17.99 euro + shipping. Sorry, looks like the seller only had the one copy or I'd post a link. Last edited by The Duke; 03-30-2010 at 10:51 PM. Reason: additional info |

The picture quality of the DVD version of 'Nobody' (developed by the same company, MONDO ENTERTAINMENT) is superb, except for two very brief scenes:
1- Solarization for about 3 seconds AFTER Nobody has explained the "bird parable" to Jack Bouregard. 2- Scratches and dirt for about 3 seconds during a later scene, a closer shot of Nobody's face when he is talking with the big villain boss. That's it. I don't know if they fixed these two scenes for the BD (realized at the same time of the SD-DVD). |
