Casino Royale displays green

Hi Guys,


I have recently installed a pioneer blu-ray drive to my pc with new graphics card etc and am having a small problem.

I am using cyberlink power dvd ultra to watch the movies and successfully watched hitch at a great quality, but everytime I go to watch Casino Royale it goes through the ads and then to the menu where i press play and the seconds start counting as if the film is playing but it just displays green on the screen.

I have tried borrowing someone elses casino royale and the same happens, so I know its not the disc.

Any ideas?

Yeh, the only other one I have tried is Hitch, and this works fine.

Is the software you are using PowerDVD (Ultimate) - the very latest release? If so go back a version, as I had the older version - it worked fined, but doesn't have the ability to play any of the Spider man Blu-ray movies. I went to the newer version and Casino Royale went green and Spider man didn't work. I reverted back and everything is the way it was. I will have to wait until Spider man is released in region A for the patch.

I have never had any problems with Casino Royale but I did have similar problems with a couple other movies at one point. I went to tech support on the cyberlink web site and explained the problem to them. Within a couple days they E-Mailed me with a fix. Casino Royale has always worked fine on my computer and I am running the newest version.

cheers guys, I am going to go to the cyberlink forum first see if they can help, if not i'll try reverting back.

I will try, but this isn't a thin film of green, this is a thick film of green and you cannot see the film! Why would it happen just when the film comes on and not the menu's?
