Default Casino Royale

Sorry if it's already been posted, but this movie is by far the most impressive Blu-Ray to date that I've seen. The only thing that may top it is the scene in Deja Vu where the ferry explodes (orgasmic fireball, if you have never seen Deja Vu you must rent it if only to see the ferry explode).

I was listening with the 5.1 uncompressed PCM and had the home theater kicked up. At the end of the movie the wife and I both were wanting to watch it again.

Oh yeah, it was also a good movie!

Anyone have any other recommendations? I have a lot of older movies already on blu-ray but I'm in the market for the recent releases that are above and beyond impressive on blu-ray. Thanks for reading

Yeah, I thought Casino Royale looked great.

I agree about the Ferry scene in Deja Vu also. One of the most impressive hi-def scenes that I've seen.

Here are a couple of recent threads asking for the same sort of thing:

Most animated films look great also (Cars, Ratatouille, etc.).

I agree with both of those movies. Both look outstanding. I might be in the minority on this one but I was also extremely impressed with the movie "Identity".
