Default Resolved to Ignore the Format War

Hello,

For as much time and energy as I put into investigating the format war I don't think it's actually doing me much good. The whole scene reminds me a bit of those times when I drive by an accident and try to resist looking at the carnage.

I want the Format War to be over so much that all the rumors of studios jumping to one side or the other actually stress me out and I can do without that.

So,.. I hereby make an effort to simply go on as though there is no format war.

I own a Blu Ray player and buy and rent Blu Ray movies as often as I can so I know I'm doing my part. If a strategic buy date is planned like the recent one due to the Transformers release I'm sure I'll hear about it and may try to buy extra.

Meanwhile I'm just going to try not to let the format war bother me anymore.

(Just thought I would share,... silly as it sounds it's like a goal)

-Brian

That sounds EXACTLY like the "discussion" my wife and I had this past weekend. Evidently, she really is tired of hearing about Blu-ray discs and HD DVD's. LMAO!

Hey,

I don't think that I'll post here any less.

I will likely post less on AV$. If those guys want to try to convince people to buy into HD DUD then they can have it.

There's plenty to discuss about Blu Ray even if you aren't interested in the Format War.
