It's New Line Cinemas

I'd hope it would.

So far, it looks like New Line has been putting all their new releases on BD, and since Golden Compass is so big, there's no doubt it'll be out on BD. HD-DVD is going to have to wait a while.

I would guess yes, but I won't be seeing this. I read the books this summer, well, the first one and then most of the second one and gave up. I hated them.

That movie looks awesome!

1) I hope it's as good as the preview.
2) I hope it's on BD.

No one will know if it's big or not until it comes out. Personally I hated the first two books, and I never read the third after I found out what it was about. I hope it does poorly at the box office.

If any of you are fans of Narnia, you should read the rubbish Pullman said about it.

I've read the His Dark Materials trilogy by Philip Pullman and they're great stories. I'm looking forward to the movies.

I know it's off topic, but speaking of current and movies coming soon. I was really hoping Elizabeth: The Golden Age would be Blu.

But I'm thinking it wont be as it's Universal.

Yes, the books are supposed to be the Anti-Narnia. I just thought most of the characters in the books had no redeeming qualities.
