Fifth Element - Blu-ray Forum

Are all the Fifth Element copies out there the remastered ones? I wanna order from Best Buy.com and pick-up in store, but am I gauranteed that they will have the remastered copy and not the crappy one in the store?

no i still see the old one in stores all the time. The only way to tell if its the remastered one is, the caption that says experience high definition on the bottom front has to be silver and not grey. Also on the back it says TRUE HD for audio. I suggest you dont order this one online and instead get it from a store so you can get the right one.

look at the thread i made about best buy and you will see that bestbuy.com has a different price for 1st edition and remastererd edition

check the back the codes are different, as well as the extra sound.
Remastered UPC: 0-43396-21520-7
Original UPC: 0-43396-15018-8

One more -- the copyright notice for the artwork (not the movie itself) at the bottom of the back says 2007 in the remastered one, and 2006 in the original.

one more- the remastered has a picture of the taxi cab on it.
