Spider-Man Trilogy (US) Review - Blu-ray Forum

Looks like the first reviews of the US Spider-Man box set are showing up:

Sounds like we are in for a treat. I missed #3 at the cinema so it will be a great to have all three...

Less than 3 weeks to go before release, and this along with the Harry Potter series and Die Hards are definate pick ups for me. Glad to see the good reviews.

i'm not seeing the hate for the cover...looks fine to me, way better than the other one ive seen (the black spidey chest on teh whole thing)

I like the cover too. I mean it's Spiderman, and the blue aura around him is perfect for the format.

I could truly care less about extra features, but I happened to notice that the reviewer gave that aspect of SP3 a 5 out of 5.

I can't wa for mine to come. Got an email saying it's been shipped and should be with me on Monday but the post offices are striking over here in the UK so who knows when it wil lturn up!

Mine was posted by sendit.com on the 11th, so I wasn't expecting it till next week, but after reading this thread I just went to look outside my front door, and there it was!

Cover art is identical to that posted earlier in this thread, a nice touch is the box has raised bits on it, the lettering is raised, spiderman himself and also the web that spiderman is holding with his left hand.

One tiny issue is that you can't discard the box if you want and be left with three separate movies because the first two don't have barcodes and instead have a notice saying they are part of a pack and not for individual resale. So you couldn't ever trade those in to a high street store, you'd have to keep the box because that has the barcode for the whole box set. However Spiderman 3 looks like it's the same item you'd get if you bought it separately. Of course this is because Spiderman and Spiderman 2 aren't available separately at this point in time, but little things like that always annoy me just a tiny little bit.

The review for spidey 3 on hidef digest is up. PQ = 4.5 and AQ = 5.
