I guess it's an adaption of a book series that I never heard of. It's from the writer of Heathers and the director of Mean Girls, two of my all-time favourite films. So it has to be somewhat decent. I was also amazed to find out that the writer of Heathers and the director of Mean Girls are brothers.

Looks so bad that it looks like a rip-off of a rip-off of something terrible in the first place...oh wait, that's exactly what it is.

I'm so tired of seeing these teen vampire comedies. The idea (which imo was never good in the first place) has been exhausted by all these releases. I hope we get a good vampire flick soon. Hopefully then vampires can go back to being creatures of nightmares and darkness, rather than of romance and comedy.

I want to see vampires as monsters, not this shit.

I'm getting tired of these book adaptations trying to be the next big thing. Twilight and THG were financially successful, but that doesn't mean every other book series will be...I'm looking at you Beautiful Creatures.

Although I am looking forward to The Mortal Instruments though. I thought the books were decent. I had more interest in those than THG.

This movie though will not do good at all. Especially since it's going up against Divergent on the same day.

Saw this before Catching Fire (with a load of other terrible trailers) and wow does this look horrible. They are trying to be serious but it looks as bad as the rip offs of other movies.
