Of the top 15 movies currently in the box office, the following is true:

The top 3 will be Blu-Ray exclusives
The top 4 are coming to Blu-Ray
Out of the top 15, 12 will be coming to BD and 10 are exclusives.

1 Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married?/Lionsgate
2 The Game Plan / Buena Vista Pictures Distribution
3 We Own the Night /Sony Pictures Releasing

Yeah but who would willingly buy a Tyler Perry movie on ANY format?

If you look for the year to date box office numbers Blu-ray is well ahead of the race. Took a look at it a month ago and it was around 80% going Blu when they eventually come out. About 50% of those where exclusive.

I'll try to find the link. It was either Yahoo movies or Movie Phone.

The Heartbreak Kid won't be on BLU.

Hey, maybe Paramount will blame us for crappy box office sales. They've blamed bad reviews and HALO 3 (come on) so far. Why not blame the weather, this forum and low VHS sales too.
