Which ones made you double check your closet, under your bed, made you leave the light open or flat out made you sleep in mommy's room
![]() 1. The Ring (2002) (Or any other movie with creepy crawling girls in white, this one made me hallunicate aftewards). 2. Return of the Living Dead (1985) (First zombie movie I saw as a kid, made me pull my brother's bed next to mine for a year. The word Brains terrified me for years afterwards lol). 3. Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) (Saw this on the same night as the Ring, just too graphic and creepy, nothing like hanging live people on meat hooks ay?). 4. Alien (1979) (Saw this at too young of an age on Beta video in 1982, felt pretty damn weird and creepy, my favorite movie of all time). 5. A tie between Psycho 2 & Evil Dead (That lady in the basement-cellar). One more- Jaws still keeps me 20 feet near the shoreline. ![]() What are yours? A little info on me, I'm in my 30's and saw these when I was a kid, Dad let us watch everything, grew up in the country, and these movies scared the pee out of me and/or made me sleep with my baseball bat. No specific order.
1. The Fog (979), grew up in near the ocean it was always foggy 2. Watership Down, the general fighting the dog gave me nightmares 3. A Nightmare on Elm Street, Freddy and his glove 4. The Amittyville Horror (1979) lived in an old house 5. The Howling (1981), dogs barking at night Probably scary ones out there, these are the ones from my childhood. Dude thats crazy!!! My favorite horror movie of all time is Return of the living dead (1985) also .My uncles forced me to watch it by telling me if I got off the couch they where gonna beat the crap out of me but I loved scarry movies anyways. My 2nd is Dawn of the Dead the remake, everytime I am with a chick and put that on I get lucky I will be trying it for the 7th time when I get back to the U.S. I already have about 4 hotties lined up and in mind. Then Hellraiser 1 and II. And then the Exorcist wich I was watching with my dad when I was about 5 and my moms car broke down in the middle of the night and my dad left me there watching it alone to go get her and I was too scared to get off the bed to turn it off but I still finished it. Horror movies are my favorite.

1. The Thing
2. Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) 3. The Lost Boys 4. The Shining 5. Near Dark 6. Christine 7. The Mist 8. Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 I know some of mine are weird like Christine, but I have seen it so many times that I love it. The scariest one I have ever seen was the Japanese version of "The Eye". It creeped me out. Last edited by hostelmovies; 03-05-2009 at 02:11 PM. |

1 - Halloween (original)
2 - Childs Play 3 - A Nightmare on Elm Street 4 - Scream 5 - Friday the 13 Part III Jaws would be #2 on the list if I considered it a horror movie which I don't. Last edited by Eagle_23; 03-05-2009 at 02:18 PM. |
