Default 2001 BD: properly formatted widescreen

Does anyone know if the "2001" BD will have properly formatted widescreen?
I think it's supposed to be 2:35:1 or possibly even 2:20:1.

Other websites are saying the 2001 BD will be in 1.78:1.

I don't get it either because I'd like it to be 2.20:1 as well.

One can always go to the source: Warner says it will be issued in its OAR of 2.20:1.

I'm curious about this because I thought it was a widescreen / 2.20:1 film.

Any help is appreciated,
Mike
Well the SMPTE 70mm projection aspect ratio is 2.20
The Blu-ray should have the image in its correct ratio "letterboxed" within the High Definition 1.78 wide 1080 x 1920 frame.
The back cover says

1080p High Definition 16x9 2.2:1
