Default Widescreen Setup On Widescreen LCD TV

I have a new Samsung LN-T4671F. There are several screen modes, one being 16:9 and another called Just Scan. I have my tv setup on Just Scan as this is full image without any cutoff. I have paused the blu-ray image while watching several movies and switched between 16:9 and Just Scan and I get more picture on both the left and the right sides with Just Scan. I am assuming this gives me the true native aspect ratio.

Thanks for the help to anyone who knows about this...

Yep, I have the Samsung 40" 4053, and 'Just Scan' gives you the original native aspect ratio (i.e. the signal the TV is actually receiving). Make sure your settings on your player are where you want them.

I have the PS3 setup on 1080P/24FPS... So that's what I should be seeing?

Thanks a bunch...

just set your PS3 to automatically adjust. It will pick the right settings.
