I'm continuning with my October horror fest, so The Reaping, the compilations, Return to House on Haunted Hill as well as some back titles are candidates for me. It depends how my wallet is doing. I'll cast my vote on poll at that time.

like it or not, i'll probably buy SD Transformers. i was just going to get it from netflix and copy it but i decided to just buy it

it will be the first SD dvd i've purchased in a while and i don't know if i'll ever buy one again. of course i never thought i would buy vhs again untill a local video store was closing down and i was lucky enough to get star wars 4,5, and 6 in their horrible pictue and audio quality glory.

same, i have to admit. a couple high effect movies dont look as good copied, even upscaled. SD upscaled for TF should hold me over until the Paramount deal is over and done with.

As for BDs, I'm not sure. Nothing specific I want to buy this week. I may grab a couple of other titles I've been holding off on, but am not sure.

Glad to see I won't be the only one purchasing the SD Transformers. I will purchase Remember the Titants, 28 Days Later, Crank and Dracula to offset the Transformers purchase.

sadly I do not have enough money to buy anything until Spider-man... Literally. I bought three today that I was not planning on
1. Crank
2. Dawn of the Dead
3. Arlington Road
Then i remembered that transformers week was coming and slapped myself in the head.

I am heading to Fry's on Monday to look at the "big" sale. In addition, I may pickup The Fly and Reign Over Me. In total, I may try to squeeze in 4 movies for this critical Transformers week.

Some Disney 2 for 1 at Best Buy

Some Sony 2 for 1 at Frys

+ Fox, Sony and Starz titles released in the last couple of weeks. Should be quite a haul!

I was wondering if the new releases would get cannibalized by some of these sales going on next week. The graph kind points to that effect. I was going to get Return to House on Haunted Hill and Reaping, but I'm probably going to skip them this week and concentrate my funds on the sales. Hmmm...

I held off getting Twilight Zone The Movie and From Hell for this week. Does anyone own either and what did you think of the tranfers? If not one of them, then I will be getting either Dave Matthews/Tim Reynolds or AC/DC live BD's. Depends on what I can afford. I still have a $5 Reward Zone Cert. good until the 20th that I plan on putting to good use.

The releases this week are crap (IMHO). But, thanks to sales at BB and CC, I'm buying some BLUs anyway.

I may buy 5-6 so I can get 5-6 free (free still report as units moved).

The next new stuff I want is next week.

It's a shame transformers is hd dud, we all know Optimus Primes optics are Blu.
