Default Cable Problem

Anyone help me with this problem plz.
basicly when i try to play a blu-ray on my ps3 its in black and white, i hook it up using a pomposite and a scart adapter. i have used a hdmi camble at my friends house and it works fine thx for yr help

Is the TV HD? I had the issue when I had an SD TV, it was B&W and grainy. You have to have an HD screen for most Blu-Rays I think.

yer as i said i connected it to a hd and it worked fine, dvds and ect worked fine

for proper blu-ray playback you need either component video or HDMI, i think. I could be wrong. I know it'll work with at least component. You might want to call Sony to find out for sure. They were VERY helpful with me when i called them for help, and only took about 5 minutes to get a live technician.
