I think those numbers will be out this Friday the 26th.
For the week ending on the 21st,
which will include the 16th when TF was released.

If Tranformers broke any kind of record, I would expect an announcement from Paramount to that effect. It would probably come today or tomorrow. I am sure not even the DVD broke any records. Silence from Paramount is a good sign. We will probably see an announcement later this week what was the top BD and HD DVD. I am sure that Transformers is the top selling HD DVD and top title of both formats for last week. It is anybodys guess as to if the BOGO sale did any damage to the HD DVD side being able to claim a victory for the week. I am beginning to wonder if Disney gave Best Buy some kind of deal on the Meet the Robinsons Blu-ray this week also since they are offering that so much lower then they normally would for any new BD release.

The "deal" would be something like, "If you buy and agree to sell 'X' amount of Meet the Robinsons on Blu-ray, we will sell them to you at 'Y' price (which would be lower than usual)." If that is the case, then Best Buy wouldn't have to mark them up as much.

Being the top DVD in America isn't saying a lot given what else came out last week.

I would think that the HD-DVD group would be making an announcement if Transformers broke 100K HD-DVD sales first week.
