There are 2 right now that bitstream MA the 1400 and the pioneer 95. The new Sony 2000 will not do it either if you check the specs. I think the new panansonic due to be announced within about a week will. But that is just speculation based off what they have done in the past.

If you're thinking about dropping $1200 on a player, maybe wait till January and take a look at the Denon BD Transport. It's been announced that it will be Full Profile compliant.

We donot know if the Sonys will get FW updates to do MA. The SoC that is being used is capable of doing they either did not enable it or did not put all the required hardware to do it. I agree if you want to wait the Denon would be a good option but it will be 2K. If you want to do it now then the 1400 is the cheapest way to do it. And it has the Sigma 8634 Rev. C chip which can do alot more than even what it is doing. I just donot think that Samsung will do anything more with it.
Good luck

I have the 1400 outputting DTS-HD MA and it is awesome I really like the player too. Who knows when Sony will release a firmware update for MA, they haven't even mentioned one for the PS3 yet!! The 1400 rocks, go get it.

I have to heavily endorse the Pioneer Elite 95 ALL THE WAY!!!
It will do DTS HD MA via bitstream.
I'm sure it will have a kick-ass picture to boot...
...and it's only $1000 (and even lower if you find a good online buy like The Digital Bit's Power Buy section).

Need I say more???

The naming system DTS uses is the most confiusing thing out there.
