Default Bitstream output of high-resolution soundtracks w/ the Panasonic DMP-BD30

From: http://help.cnet.com/9602-12576_39-0...sageID=2510442

Sorry, I'm getting excited to do this (when it freakin comes out)

If you have a brand-new AV receiver with onboard decoding for Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, you'll want to set the DMP-BD30 for bitstream output to take advantage of these high-resolution soundtracks. However, actually getting the DMP-BD30 to output these soundtracks at their full resolution can be a little confusing. Here's what you need to do to get it working.

1. Press setup on the remote
2. Choose "Audio"
3. Choose "Digital Audio Output"
4. Set the top four options to "Bitstream"
5. Set the bottom option, "BD-Video Secondary Audio" to off.
6. Exit the setup menu

Now just play a Blu-ray movie with a high-resolution soundtrack, and your receiver should indicate that it's decoding the high-resolution audio.
