American Reunion - Extended Cut for July 2012

Hurwitz and Schlossberg spoke to Collider and said that they filmed a lot of material which would add up to an impressive 2.5 hours of runtime. Of course, the theatrical version will be shorter, but a part of that will be included in a later unrated cut, which is expected for release in July.

There is going to be an unrated DVD and we are going to put some things in there, but we were careful not to throw in so much that it actually hurts the movie ‘cause there’s a reason why we didn’t keep it in there.

Just make sure both cuts are on the same release. I hate releases that just give us the extended edition only

I saw it today with my wife - we both enjoyed it. I went in expecting mediocrity at best and came out of the theater very, very entertained - plus I got to use two of the three $10 movie passes that came with the recent AP BD's I picked up at Best Buy. Can't wait for this BD to come out. It'll be a release day purchase for sure.

From the trailers, it looks like the "Extended Cut" should contain more material with

Picked up the first three on Blu-ray and spent the movie money to see Reunion. Great movie and can't wait for the unrated cut!
