One of my most anticipated films of the year. Each trailer just keeps on delivering. Hope it becomes successful at the box office.

The latest trailer looks incredible.

I am unsure as to how much it would make. 80 or 90 odd!

That number seems a bit low.

I went with somewhere in the seventies...while the new film is getting rave reviews, and you'd think that a sequel to a critically-acclaimed film like Rise Of The POTA would make even more money, there's the disappointing box office underperformance of How To Train Your Dragon 2 to take into consideration.

This is about where my prediction is. I'll say $70 million. Will certainly hope for it to do more, but sadly I don't think that will happen. Critics consensus won't help, as we've already seen with several movies this summer (Edge of Tomorrow, HTTYD2, Trans4mers).

I have a feel this will continue the trend of summer films not making as much as they should. I don't know why that is for whatever reason. Guess people are staying home more and waiting for the home release.

So I'm guessing about $60 million. $65 million tops. If it does anymore I'll be shocked, but glad.

The Conjuring effect; The Conjuring was set to open at 5 but, the good reviews blasted it way into the number one spot of that weekend. so same will happen with Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. it will open with $85 Million to $93 Million.

I don't see it going over $70 mil. The movie feels longer than 2 hours, and the 3D is almost completely lost in darkness.

I'm guessing it'll be around $73 million; of course, I'm hoping it'll do better than that, as it looks really cool and I really enjoyed "Rise" quite a bit.

Just like how the rave reviews for How to Train Your Dragon 2 blasted it to #1?
