OLDBOY- Comes with DVD too - Blu-ray Forum

Got this a few days ago, love the movie but i'm baffled....why have they included a DVD with it as well? Along with a sticker saying "Future Proof, includes DVD version also"!.

Any ideas?

Future proof? Some of us already own the dvd

. I'd call that "backwards compatable" for those who don't.

This is Tartan's first foray into HD media and this title will probably be a gauge for them.
Let's show them some love since I'd like to see more of their product go blu.

I think that the UK version will have a DVD of the movie in the box, while it looks like the US release will have lots of extras on the DVD but not the movie itself!? We will have to wait and see...

Yeah, it is weird to throw in a DVD. I do need a new coaster though.

I bought this as an import on DVD a long time ago. I never watched it. I guess Blu would be a good way to do it. I know a lot of people say how good it is, but sometime I just don't get around to watching everything I buy.
