This movie was a visual treat but boy did it fall short in the ending...I was so hoping for a different ending. I was hoping that the director's cut was going to include the alternate ending, but sadly no. So having a steelbook is the only thing that makes this worth the purchase.

I'm always astonished and even a little horrified when people pass off actual expanded bonus footage for just a shiny package. Target for the win (unless Walmart's rumored bonus disc becomes reality and then it will be both for the win, my wallet for the loss)!

Even though I prefer the cover art for the 3-disc release, I'm getting the 2-disc release because it's $5 cheaper.

Just so you know it's the same cover art, only difference is the 3-disc release has a thicker case/slipcover

Colon Farell is NO Arnold so this remake doesn't get my Joe Boxers moist. It seems to me that the STAR of this film is the special effects. If I do view Total Recall, it'll be on Vudu if I find a cheap UV code.
