Default How to get Trasformers back!

Transformers was produced by : Paramount, Dreamworks, Hasbro, Di Bonaventura, Sprocketheads and Thinkfilm.
It seems that Dreamworks wants to leave Paramount (thanks to Mr Spielberg), can we try to convince the other companies to turn their back to Paramount and let us have Transformers in Blu-ray?
Any way to contact them?

You'd have to have see the distribution rights contract between DW and Paramount to know if it is even possible to happen.

I can't get it back. I haven't had it yet.

I'll pick it up on Blu Ray on down the line or at least rent it.

to get something back one must need to have had it first... it would be a blu-ray specticle, but honestly, nothing to yammer about

Snap,

The 2 LD's are..

Pink Floyd Delicate Sound of Thunder
Laurie Anderson Home of the Brave A Concert Film

I also have "A Video Standard" which is like the LD version of Video Essentials (like VE it's a Joe Kane production) But I don't count that,.. it's just for calibration.

Laurie Anderson's website claims Home of the Brave will be on DVD soon which would be fantastic for me. But they started with the "soon" talk last Feb and I think it's been canned

The single SACD I have is Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon.

Everyone else,

Sorry for the off topic tangent.

Just wait for the Director's Edition.

I'm sure he will release a new edition that will have more, better extras, deleted scenes, and on Blu-ray in a year or so. He did for some of his other films, so why not this one?

Sigh.... "The Warner Effect". Ya know, tossing the HD DVD version on blu-ray to get it out the door. Had I known this about 300, I would have passed on it.

I'll be very cautious about buying this one. I hope and pray Michael Bay demands it gets remastered for BD. Heck, I'm hoping it comes on the DB100 disk.

Any way of making sure Bay sees this?

Post it on his forum.
I was thinking the same thing.
We should demand better quality on the BD version.
We already know it will fit.

Can't we just get over not having this dismal movie? Certainly there must be one movie in the Blu-ray catalogue that might be of interest to those so affected by this horrific "loss".

You have to let the Transformers issue go. Wait for the 14 or so months to be over and then we all can start talking about it again. We are not going to get this title, no matter what anyone says or does, it is the reality of the situation.

I agree. I mean people on here are giving the HD-DVD fanboys something to laugh at. It's over now wait the 14 months and hopefully we'll get the movie with Lossless audio because Blu-Ray has enough space on their discs.

Having seen the SD version, I am not so sure I will be anxiously waiting for it to be released on Blu. Just not my cup of tea.

I just signed up. Guess I am waiting for verification because I can't post or reply.

I'm not going to troll, but I want to make damn sure he gets pissed about any potential "Warner Effect" on his movies. I'm sure he'll demand quality.

I'm not one to sign up for one reply, but you never know if he answers.

As an artist, you want your work to be seen in the best possible light.
A director of a film is no different.

Bay even said TF was rushed and that he didn't have as much a hand in the DVD as he liked. It can be better and he does know that. He also knows that Blu-ray is better. So I hope he can push for better when it does hit Blu.

Thanks! for time/effort being the voice of Blu of his site.

I agree, I did not see it in the theaters, and then was disapointed it was not going to be on BD. I wanted to see it badly, so I bought the dvd edition. Now I can't even tell you how the movie ended, it was that un-memerable for me. I would have bought the BD version sight unseen if it was released, now I will pass if it comes out. Did nothing for me.
