Anyone received or bought a copy yet? Tempted, but need to know for sure if it's DC or theatrical and what the transfer's like. Cheers.

It's the theatrical and the transfer's a tad inconsistent. The print looks like it was made up from various other prints. That said, it's the best it's ever looked on a home format.

Seriously pisses me off that it's theatrical only. But I ordered it anyway. Love this movie.

Yeah, I was reading there might be some edge enhancement issues, but that seems to be standard for Blu-ray these days. DC I can live without as it's not really something I've dipped into in the last decent DVD. Cheers.

While I did see some of the problems pointed out in Bill Hunt's review (of the US version), I thought it was a pretty good overall transfer. I was pretty happy with it. If you love the movie, I'd say go for it.

Around 70% of it looks great. An upgrade but we're a long ways off from anything definitive...
