Default Man this is going to be an expensive next couple of weeks/months

...We got Spidey Trilogy coming out next week and thats a definite buy for me

Ratatouille(sp?) - maybe
Close Encounters - probably even though I haven't seen it yet

Die Hard Quadrilogy - maybe I haven't seen any of them yet might be a blind buy

DEC 4 is going to be killer on me:
POTC3 -definite
T3 - definite
Superbad probably although it'll be a blind buy for me
Independence Day - definite

Then we got Harry Potter movies the following week which will also be a defintie but blind buy for me

Blade Runner again another definte but blind buy for me
Pans Labryinth
3:10 to Yuma

The only week there is nothing worth buying is the week of Nov 27th.

Do you guys and gals plan on buying most of these titles too? Which upcoming titles are definites for you? How can someone afford all this? Escpecially with the Christmas season coming

The future is looking blu literally

Spidey Trilogy - Pre-ordered

CARS - Pre-ordered *I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT YOU FORGOT THIS ONE*

Ratatouille - No

Close Encounters - Pre-ordered

Die Hard Quadrilogy - No... I'm good with my DVDs

POTC3 - Will be asking for it for Christmas

T3 - No

Superbad - More likely than not

Independence Day - Could happen, but at this moment NO

Harry Potter - Not a chance. I like the Spiderman films more than these, and I actually don't like the Spiderman films... yes, I know that I've pre-ordered them

Blade Runner - Seriously considering (which means that I probably will)

Pans Labryinth - Seriously considering (which means that I probably will)

3:10 to Yuma - I'll rent first. Not a big fan of Westerns.

Maybe he was one of those bubble boys and he was just cured and released out into the world.

Seriously though. You haven't seen these movies lsalas76?
I can't imagine how empty you must feel inside.

If you get some extra funds you should also try 2001, which was just released. I doubt that you've watched that one either, but it's worth every penny and then some.

My November is looking pretty crazy too.

Spidey this week

Cars, Ratatouille, Pixar shorts, and Oldboy after that.

The Dragonball Z and HOPEFULLY I, Robot.

Then Die Hard 3 and 4

Next up is Paprika

That takes care of November.

December brings Queen Rock Montreal, Superbad, 5 Harry Potter movies, and The Simpsons.

In the new year, going off whats announced on our coming soon thread, I am looking forward to 3:10 to Yuma and Con Air. Will be renting a few others.

too bad my immediate family doesn't believe in buying movies as gifts for b-days or christmas, nor do they believe in giving gift cards as gifts. Ouch this is going to hurt my wallet.

Lol at being a bubble boy, maybe I was. I had really had no interest in watching the Die Hards or Harry Potter movies. The other movies I just haven't watched them yet. I will eventually watch them when I buy them or rent them.

You're right haven't seen 2001 nor the Shinning for that matter either. I will rent those titles first. I was almost tempted to buy but held off.

Im not sure when I'll get around to watching these "must see movies" because with grad school and two jobs it'll be hard.

In my opinion, 'Cars' is probably one of the best constructed animated films ever. It has underlying messages that pertain to every living generation of human beings on the planet. Trust me, I am the antithesis of a "car guy" (although I do want to own a Ferrari, Aston Martin, Cobra, Viper, and maybe a Lamborghini someday) and I thought that 'Cars' would never appeal to me. But, when I got a copy for reviewing purposes and it started up... I was in visual, audible, and general entertainment heaven. This title on DVD was the first to make me say, "I can longer wait for Blu-ray! I need it now" even though I knew that is was still a minimum of 1 full year away from being released on the new format.

I know what you meant... and I decided to relate it back the POTC3. It was my play on the "Yo ho, yo ho, a pirates life for me" from the film.

Maybe not on Blu-ray, but for all you Futurama fans, just a friendly reminder the new straight to DVD movie is released on the 27th!
