Season 6 is pretty good. Better than season 5, IMHO.

This!!! Season 4 was the last season I enjoyed. By the 2nd half of last season (season 5) I was only half-paying attention. I quit on the show after the 3rd episode this season.

The beginning of Season 6 was weak, but it picks up. Once Howard comes back from space, the show goes back to normal. I admit, the whole Howard going into space thing was a drag. I'm glad it didn't last too long.

But yeah, give the show a chance. There are some really hilarious episodes this season.

Just like many other shows coming out later this year, I'll wait for a sale. I can wait for TBBT to go on sale more than other shows though, seeing as how it comes on TBS & Fox all the time.

I think the whole Priya plot ruined Season 5. And it seemed like Penny took a backseat to Amy and Bernadette. Wasn't she injured or something? The balance between the 3 girls seems much better in Season 6.

And season 4. I never liked her and was glad once they finally got rid of her in season 5.

Oh yeah, I was thinking of Season 4. She wasn't in Season 5 as much, but I think they should have just started the season without that storyline.

I didn't have a problem with the Priya storyline at all. A big problem of season 5 was dragging the Penny & Leonard relationship on. I cared about that relationship earlier in the series, but Season 5-present......................I don't care. Are they still dragging that out that reltionship in the current season?

Thankfully, there's only about 3 Leonerd-Penny relationship centered episodes this season (and coming from someone who couldn't care less about their relationship, I thought those episodes are actually pretty good this year). So far, this season mostly focuses on Sheldon, Raj, and Howard.
