Didn't see another topic for this.

Seems an interesting watch after the pilot.

Weird, with this show, I will now be watching the CW 3 nights in a row...never thought that would happen.

I didn't see too much that interested me in the pilot. It's a high-concept show, but being in the cut-throat TV world of today they had to push through so much of the show's background in one hour.

I haven't watched it yet but I'm looking forward to. Although I'm sure it'll be cancelled because the ratings were really bad.

The show has been moved to Fridays after Nikita. Which probably won't make a difference in ratings, but it's better than being with Hart of Dixie. I doubt anyone who watches HoD would watch Cult.

It's based around a TV show called Cult, Billy Grimm is the cult leader and a detective that was once part of it. The fans of Cult are basically obsessed with the show, constantly trying to find clues and connections, like there's meaning behind every word and action. Many are willing to kill because of the it. Then there's Jeff and Skye... Jeff is a journalist whose brother watches the show but then disappears, which leads Jeff to search for him while finding out more about Cult. And Skye is a researcher for the show who is convinced that there's an underground cult.

I know it's only 2 episodes in, but they really should show why the show within the show is so addictive that it has a rabid fanbase. The scenes they've shown so far of the detective searching for her sister and evidence against Billy make the show look like a boring cop show. If it were something like Lost or Fringe, I could see people obsessing over clues and stuff. I think that's what's keeping me from getting into it. I don't understand why there's a cult in the first place. It has a neat concept though.

Cult has been cancelled and will be replaced on the schedule by reruns of Oh Sit and The Carrie Diaries. I'm a little surprised they aren't going to air the remaining 7 episodes because it's not like those reruns are going to do any better than original episodes of Cult that have already been completed.

Never got why people cancel something and then replace it with repeats if you still have a bunch of eps yet. You would think they would wanna air the eps since they spent money on them.

Network never ever really even gave this show a chance.

Not surprising, I gave up on it after 4 episodes. Guess Matthew Davis will have to stick with guest appearances on TVD.

This is the second canceled CW show for Jessica Lucas. She was also on the short lived reboot of Melrose Place. But atleast was in the #1 movie this weekend before it happen.

I agree, at least not for this. I watched the show because of him but stopped at the 5th since it didn't interest me anymore. Now he can make an appearance on TVD again.
