Default Talking to co-workers or anyone else

I am only posting this because the thread I wanted to post this on is closed.
This can be useful for a lot of situations, though.

If a co-worker, or anyone else for that matter, tells you something is going to happen, and you question it, demand proof. Where did they get their information? In other words, if a co-worker says something is coming out on dud and not BD, demand that they tell you where they got their information.

No. I found a couple of colleagues with the XBOX add on. They had convinced their immediate group the quality was as good as Blu and was potentially better than Blu as it was designed around AV as it was after all DVD just in HD and Blu was this funny new expensive unreliable thing that wasn't based on a standard. Not knowing my background but becoming aware I was Blu they decided to take me on very publicly to win a BIG victory for HD-DVD. The two of them knew all the FUD including even Columbia supported HD-DVD, shame they didn't know any of the facts, I even had to tell them HD-DVD's specifications (they are professional programmers) so understand bits and bytes. I must tell them about my involvement here one day...

That sounds like a good way to make friends at work.

I especially like to challenge them on anything they bring up regarding religion or politics.

I just punch them in the throat and yell, "WHOSE WINNING NOW *****!" I then show them Tron 3's yellow "light cycle" logo that I have tattooed on my arm.

Well, considering most of the people I work with insist on buying the full screen version of a movie on DVD, I don't think any of them will be interested in HD media at all. I do talk about it, so one of these days something might stick with them if they are ready to go Hi Def.

It's kinda funny I work for a Techy company as well and No one that I have talked to has gotten into Hi Def world yet but if and when they do, they'll know all of the facts because I talk about it all the time. They alctually joke around because I have Blu-ray.com up constantly.
