does anyone have this and if they do does it only have dd?
and to people that have amazon did they stop listing the goldbox items "for you" or is it just me

My Amazon order says it won't ship until the 31st.

I dunno...her soundstage performance is on the second disc and I am buying this for the last 20 minutes of that performance.

The first hour and a half bored me to death and then she started singing Opera songs and Cole Porter tunes and then she started yodeling and I was mezmorized.

Hey...I don't really like her music, but at least she writes her own stuff and can actually PLAY the guitar.

I bought mine on ebay on the 15th, hopefully it's not release on the 28th cuz I was goin off of blu-ray.com's 10/14 release date

If you bought it from digitaldogpound (looks like the only seller with them listed) it says Oct 28th right in the description...

This is a DVD Pre-Order, scheduled for release 10/28/08.

Family Video shipped my order and I should have it Monday or Tuesday. It was done by our friend, Richard Casey, so it should look and sound fantastic.

Just got this and I quickly skimmed through it. The Songbook is 2 live concerts on 2 DL BD-50 discs. The picture is encoded in 1080i60 using AVC codec. The audio options are dts HD MA 5.1, PCM 2.0, and DD 5.1. Both the picture and audio are outstanding as expected.

My copy should ship today from amazon.ca, along with Baraka. I've been looking forward to both these BD's.

Addressing just the JEWEL disc, and without having seen it, this is not going to be a toe-tapper. But then, that's not the kind of singer/songwriter she is anyway. Her music should be appreciated for lyrics and vocal interpretation and at that she is one of the best.

I haven't seen any reviews (and I wouldn't care as I'd buy it anyway), but it would be awesome if this disc was close to reference quality.
