Default What Blu is essential to every collection?

hey everyone, I am new here. i really enjoy looking at peoples HT and collections, and reading the opinions of everyone on here. I am rather new the the blu ray game, and my question is:

What blu ray should every person have in their collection? no exceptions.

Everyone here is going to list THEIR favorite movies, which may not be YOUR favorite. If you can expand on your favorite genres, there are some must buys for each genre.

Exactly, I would tell you to buy Wall-E, Iron Man, Kung Fu Panda, Planet Earth but that doesn't not mean you will like them.

One of the best action flicks to be released as of lately imo

Sunshine: A team of astronauts are sent to re-ignite the dying sun 50 years into the future.

Tough one, but I'll go with Band of Brothers. A phenominal set that holds up to several repeat viewings.

If you're asking because of the "reference material" factor, I'm going to go with just about anything that Disney has released, but especially the Pixar stuff.

In that case:

Action - The Dark Knight, Iron Man, Bourne Trilogy
Sci-fi - Children of Men, 2001 Space Oddysey, Blade Runner, Dark City, The Matrix
Comedy - Superbad
Animation - Wall-e, Kung fu Panda, Ratatouille, Paprika
Foreign - Pan's Labyrinth, The Orphanage

These are at the top of my head, I'm drawing a blank
