Baraka isn't the kind of BD you sit and watch over and over. However, I find myself putting it on in the background when I am working and just want to fill the room with a little mood. As a bonus, every time I look up at my TV I am amazed at the PQ.

For live action, it is easily one of the most consistently amazing looking movies available. Every second of every scene offers an beautifully crisp IMAX image. If your TV can produce a quality picture, Baraka is about the only thing on my MUST list if only for its ability to produce the best possible image on your display. It will make you proud of your HT efforts.

That's what I'm talking about bro. Sunshine is very underrated. I let my sister borrow my copy along with my best friend and they both couldn't get into it. Don't know what their deal is.

Good list there. I love Oldboy but I cannot wait for the rest of the Vengeance trilogy to be on Blu. I personally prefer Lady Vengeance over the other two. I hope whoever took over Tartan's catalogue starts crankin' 'em out soon!

But I would say the one Blu that everybody needs based on PQ, AQ and content is Band of Brothers. First of all the sheer amount of conent makes it a great bargain and the series itself is fantastic and something I think pretty much anyone can enjoy. Plus, the picture & audio quality are fantastic even though some people ding it on the picture because of the somewhat heavy grain, but it was shot that way.

Everyone here is going to list THEIR favorite movies, which may not be YOUR favorite. If you can expand on your favorite genres, there are some must buys for each genre.

Exactly, I would tell you to buy Wall-E, Iron Man, Kung Fu Panda, Planet Earth but that doesn't not mean you will like them.
