Default *sigh* Dang it Wal Mart!

I will not buy from Wal Mart anymore.

Just saw a TV AD pimping HDDVD. Some lady says how affordable it is, etc. etc. blah blah. This was a Wal Mart ad, not Toshiba. Also looks like Walmart is pimping HDDVD in some kind of Early Black friday ad, and rumor has more ads on the way.

Sorry I took this personal, but M$ and Tocrapa have no shame, and must have wrote a big check.

What a war!

If you think Toshiba didn't pay for it you're nuts

Again, it's temporary. WM is behind Blu, but is willing to let Toshiba throw them gobs of money while the ship goes down

if they were Blu they shouldn't be promiting this stuff. Where are the similar promotions on BD equipment.

No offense, but that's not exactly the best way to tell Wal Mart to support Blu-ray

Boycotting neutral supporters won't do any good. If you stop buying blu from them, they assume noone wants it, and it further fuels them to favor the 'other side'.

Show your support with your wallet. Cause we know the HD-DVD fanboys surely will be trying the same thing. Problem is, there are more of us!!! And a hell of alot more blockbuster titles to choose from now, and in the coming months!

Good lord, don't have a cow. It's still safe to shop at KMart.

Really, how much has HD-DVD's lower prices helped them so far?

Your right of course but there are 2 companies I hate Micro$oft, and Wal-Mart.
One makes cheap products and the other one sells it. I guess going to Wal-mart exclusively to buy Blu-Rays is acceptable but damn I hate that company.

BTW, all the wal marts around my area have a sparse if any selection. If I am lucky, they have BD hidden inside the PS3 Case.

Sorry, but this is one retailer I will NOT support. I don't need to expound upon the reasons, as I'm sure any that have kept up on the news are more than well-aware of their reputation. Beyond that, I have also had some insider information on their business practices and cannot support any business that asks others to risk their livelyhood in the name of doing business with them.

It's temporary. They had to find an edge different from Target (Remember the "I do Blu?"), but pretty much everyone that goes to a Walmart sees more Blu than HD DVD.

/shrug.
I prefer Target to Wallmart anyway, but I don't think people should stop buying there for that. If anything, they should buy more Blu to show them where the light is

I feel the same way. Worst thing that ever happened to this country was Walmart.

do you have any evidence for this claim? The A2 is not some brand new budget product, its been arround for a long time and being successful as far as i am aware.
