![]() ![]() This idea of doing the conversion only came in less than two weeks, Even when Real D updated the site, they didn't even put it there (And that was last month). And the same goes for China, which has just received confirmation from this site, even with the spots and trailer with the formats already included(And no 3D in there). https://www.shine.cn/feature/entertainment/2305057677/ This source comes from the press, so it's really reliable. Surely this desire to do this conversion came from the fact that Super Mario Bros Movie made a 1B a week ago. The conversion will be done just in time for the realease. I don't think it will even take a month to convert, but since it's an animation, it's a little easier. Funny enough, Avatar The Way Of Water made Scream 6 in 3D, and Super Mario Bros Movie made Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse in 3D as well. The two being converted at the speed of light, in one month. Last edited by the13thman; 05-08-2023 at 07:07 AM. Reason: Copied coming soon section to coming soon thread |

Tickets are live. Major chains in the US still don't list any 3D showtimes. Marcus Theaters is the only one, and it's only for their 4DX locations and select SuperScreen locations. You can book tickets, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's an error and there is no 3D version.
Update: All Harkins Theaters locations also list 3D showtimes, and their Twitter account believes it's legit. Either Harkins and Marcus are both wrong, or everyone else is adding 3D showtimes later. Last edited by osmos512; 05-08-2023 at 09:46 PM. |

Oh wow! And I say that as someone who jumped off the marvel train after endgame. The spideman into the multiverse style and 3D were some of the best I've ever seen.
Can't wait for the 3D sequels. |

Tickets out in the UK only 2D showings. I’m pretty sure this movie doesn’t have a 3D conversation.

No 3D showing at IMAX Waterloo. I think we are shit out of luck for this movie in 3D at most cinemas let alone on 3D Blu ray

It looks like it's not just Warner Brothers but Sony turning their back on 3D films also, I'm seeing no ticket pre orders for this film at any Cinemark theaters and this is only being promoted for IMAX and other big screen theaters.

Really didn't care for the first one at all, made it through once but couldn't force myself through it a second time. At least this is one less 3D movie for me to not worry about.

A wide array of Twitter users have asked the accounts of Sony, Phil Lord and Chris Miller, and various animators whether there will be a 3D release. None of them have responded, despite engaging with other questions. If a 3D release wasn't happening at all, why wouldn't someone just say so? The silence means that none of them know, because according to an animator, Daniel Ceballos, he wrapped on the film just last week, and implied there was still work being done on it. It's possible the film is being finished so last minute, they won't confirm or rule out a 3D version until they're sure one can be ready in time. Hence why all PLFs were booked as 2D-only. Well then i guess this will not be interesting at all the whole thing about the first one was because of the 3D.

![]() In the minority I guess, but I loved the first one. Psychedelic animation introducing chromatic aberration (like an out-of-register print comic book), halftone textures, vivid colors with consistently medium 3D imho. Rotten Tomatoes audience score of 93% and reviewers score of 97%. Won an an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature and is pretty universally hailed as groundbreaking animation. Everyone’s tastes are different and valid, but I’ve rewatched this one several times and am crossing my fingers Across the Spider-Verse shows up in 3D … and is as eye-popping as the first one! ![]() |
