United Kingdom The Fury - Brian De Palma - Arrow release

The Arrow review is live.

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-F.../73546/#Review

Clearly the superior product all around including video presentation. Looks much better here.

Really interested if the Arrow version is that much better, of if it is just because of different people reviewing.

The downfall of the Arrow release is, it's Region B locked.

Just great! Guess I have to bite the bullet and spend bucks on a multi region player

There are so many examples like this. I bought a region free player, it's so worth it! Not being bound by region is great.

So it looks like it's safe to say the Arrow release blows away the TT release in just about every way imaginable! I'd be pretty annoyed if I had purchased this at TT cost or more!

I may have to blind buy the Arrow release soon.

I will continue to import from Second Sight, Arrow and saving money while getting a much more in depth and worthy release, the region free player pays for itself when you compare these releases vs bare bones $35 releases here.

You could say that about any Criterion release.

TT probably wouldn't like Arrow to chase on their territories, I guess.

If anyone's interested The Fury is £9.53 on Zavvi - http://www.zavvi.com/blu-ray/the-fury/10851172.html

I cancelled my Amazon order and ordered from Zavvi.

What an unusual price, Could of saved my self £4.50 but hey-ho at least my copy has already arrived

Can't really rely on Zavvi to post anything for street-date let alone street-week anymore.

By the way a lot of Arrow titles are on sale. For example The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is only £16.67 - http://www.zavvi.com/blu-ray/the-tex.../10851173.html

Does Zavvi have a preorder price guarantee, like Amazon? Mine was sent yesterday, but I was charged £13.45 (price when I placed the order). I can't find anything on their help page.

EDIT: Just found it. Says it only applies if it explicitly says so on the item's page.

That didn't last long. It's already back up in price.

Yes but their packaging is terrible, there is no way that will come through the post undamaged.

Don't know, I only used them once before when I ordered Jaws Digibook. Came in great condition.
