Categories will be determined by you!

Please submit two categories. Your #1 category will be placed in the Main Selections. Your #2 category will be placed in the Optional Selections.

First 10 #1 entries will be used. Remaining will be placed in the optional list. Also, if one of the first ten #1's is the same as one of the #2's, the optional selection will be moved to main selection.

my #1 category will be quite flexible, as it revolves around personal tastes/opinions:

#1: Underrated/Lesser-Known movies you would highly recommend to fellow forum members
#2. 3-D Movies (I considered using this as my main category, but not everybody has the equipment)

Failed with August and classes are only getting more hectic, but I'm up for challenges. Let's do this.

Category 1: Comedy
Category 2: Movies with actors who've never won an Oscar (ex. Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Joseph Gordon Levitt, etc.)

Underrated/Lesser-Known movies you would recommend to fellow forum members
1. Torque (watched on Vudu HD converted from DVD through Disc-to-Digital)
oh, I know I'll get flamed for it, but I love this flick. It is the ultimate guilty pleasure - tons of fun. Is it just Fast & Furious on motorcycles? Of course it is. But it also knows exactly what it is and doesn't take itself seriously for even a single minute. It's cheesy, it's over-the-top, and it's a blast (and the director has a serious obsession with mirror/reflection shots. Seriously, make it a drinking game and you'll be in the ER for alcohol poisoning). So if you're the kind of guy who likes cheesy guilty pleasure flicks, you should really check this out.
2. Tapeheads - It severely dated - set in the age when music videos still played on MTV and the pinnacle of video technology was the VHS tape. But this movie is hilarious, thanks in no small part to the talents of John Cusack and Tim Robbins, both in their comedic prime. Infinitely quotable and tons of fun. I've loved this movie since I first saw it almost 25 years () ago. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys Cusack and/or Robbins from back before they both got so serious.
3. The Body - It's such a great concept. An archaeological dig in Jerusalem unearths a tomb containing remains of a body - Remains that evidence suggests may just be the body of Jesus Christ. If true, it would completely contradict the idea of the resurrection, undo the foundations of Western Religion, and change the world. I would say it's in the vein of DaVinci Code and Angels & Demons, but it's better than both of those disappointments. Stars Antonio Banderas and Olivia Williams, along with Derek Jacobi and Jason Flemyng.
4. Much Ado About Nothing - I know it's a very new title, but very few people I know have seen it, and that's just a crime. I absolutely loved this adaptation, and wish it had a wider release and would garner awards attention. It won't, but it will almost certainly be in my Top 5 for 2013.
5.

Five Movies from a Foreign Director in the English Language
1. Now You See Me - Louis Leterrier (French)
2. The Family - Luc Besson (French)
3. Stoker - Park Chan-wook (Korean)
4. The Great Gatsby - Baz Luhrmann (Australian)
5. Blade II - Guillermo Del Toro (Mexican)

Miscellaneous
1. Cadillac Man
2. Peeples*
3. Xanadu
4. Atlantis: The Lost Empire
5. Choke

* note - movies listed more than once are ones I watched more than once.

Yeah acting. I thought about in general, but I have actors (actually it's really only Damon LOL) in mind who've won in other categories.

Really like that #1. Will be watching:
Ride With the Devil
Barney's Version
Mongol: The Rise of Genghis Khan
Moon
Once Upon a Time in the West

Not sure about those last two..guess they are underrated and lesser-known.
