With the recent announcement of the UK Cradle of Life Blu-ray, it was almost inevitable that a double pack would come about.

They're fun movies, they got some flak at the time, but look like masterpieces compaired to what's released these days. But £21.42 is sillly price, Amazon Germany have been selling this for half that price for a while now. I'd say wait, it will drop & drop again.

Keen to pick this up, hopefully the first movie will have lossless audio this time round (doubtful, but nevertheless). Liked these movies quite a bit.

Pretty sure both will have lossless since the german discs have had it long now. Hopefully even better PQ than the german discs, then I would upgrade.

Since the stand alone release didn't come with any, it would be a miracle if they were in the double pack.

^I know, I saw that. Such a confusing shame as to why we have no extras. Could it be that the other language audio streams took up that much disc space?

I don't think so. It's a choice of Paramount not to include extras on international titles.

Yeah, I saw that on hotukdeals.com this morning & ordered it, £4.50 a movie, two very guilty pleasures (most of my Blu-ray collection seems to be guilty pleasures). The thing is, they took a lot of flak at the time, but judging by the action stuff that's released these days, they look pretty good.
