This is an amazing film staring probably the current greatest martial arts star. I will be adding this to the collection for sure.

i don't like the chances of english subs since all the other region B thai film releases don't have any

It was a pretty good flick mostly due to the great fight choreography, but I'm not sure how much better the Blu-ray version will look than my DVD copy. And for 25EUR I think I'll wait for a US release.

I can't imagine this movie looking very good on Blu-ray. The dvd doesn't look that great and the production standards aren't close to most Hollywood releases. It does have some great action sequences though.

I have a hunch that not only will it not have English subs,but it'll be the bastardized Luc Besson cut, complete with crap French Hip-Hop soundtrack.

i have the protector on blu ray from italy and its cut so much it makes hardly any sense.

it hardly made any sense in the DVD version lol. I really didn't like that movie compared to Ong Bak.

haha im pretty there are two cuts of the movie there is a international cut which is a mess and then a longer cut......or so the legend goes.

its out in germany on blu ray but its only got thai audio and german subs.

Which is what I would actually prefer. I can't stand annoying English dubs. They make the character sound incredibly silly.

My DVD version has English subs, why wouldn't the Blu-ray version have it? I'm pretty sure most people in the world don't speak Thai.
