Samsung Blu Ray Audio Problems - Blu-ray Forum

I own a Samsung BD-P1400. I updated the firmware three weeks ago.

I have experienced a problem with intermittent audio drop out combined with the video image skipping forward. It happened the first time I played a brand new Dave Matthews/Tim Reynolds Live at Radio City Blu Ray disc. After stopping the disc and restarting, the problem seemed to go away.

Any ideas? Player problem? Cheap HDMI cable? Disc defect?

I wouldn't make much of it, unless you start seeing it more and more.

I also have the BD-P1400 and have had that problem only a couple of times, but only with DTS-MA tracks. Try updating to firmware 1.1(2nd update), it just came out recently. You can search this forum for the BD-P1400 review thread, it is discussed a little more in detail in that thread.
