I will use this thread to ask a question about my TV...

I use a PS3 60gig plugged in HDMI to DVI on my LG 44inches DLP HDTV RU-44SZ61D

I've been watching a lot of movies on it, aswell as TV, and picture always looks great (even when I plug my analog cable directly on my TV !! It is a bit blurry, but WAY better than any LCD or Plasma TVs running on analog cable I've ever seen !!!)

I just bought a PS3 with some Blu-Ray movies (Ice Age 2, Bridge to terabithia, Planet Earth...) and I must say that... I'm a bit disapointed !

I mean, the picture is perfect IMO... Clear, detailes... but it was really really good when I was watching DVDs, and I think the gap isn't THAT impressive !!!

Is it because my TV is too good when dealing with SD signal that I've been used to that quality, or just because it is quite average in producing HD pictures ?

Because where I work, we have a Plasma TV Panasonic 42inches plugged Component on HD Cable, and on some channels (not every... maybe one or two) I think the picture is quite impressive, even if noisy sometimes... It seems like the colors and the feeling of 3D are more deep than on my TV...

I don't know how to explain, but... is it normal !?! hehe !!
