Default Which operating system do you use at home and do you use an BR reader/recorder ?

Just a poll to know which operating system you currently use at home, and whether you use a Blu-Ray reader/recorder with your computer.

My self I use Linux (Open SuSE 10.2). I don't use BR reader or recorder with my PC yet, but a Nero Linux 3 is available now, I will certainly buy a BR recorder before the end of the year

I have a recorder/reader for both OS. I use Vista on my laptop and XP on my desktop. Both work fine but it is strange the both drives are made by sony and have the same specs. but my desktop seems to run faster when it comes to reading and writing. The funny thing is my laptop is a better machine than my desktop. Go figure.

Um, don't know which way to go here. I dual boot Vista and Ubuntu Linux fairly equally at home. No HDM capability on my machine yet though.

I am still using my G4 desktop I bought in 2002. It's dual 1ghz Power PC.
It's old but so damn reliable it just won't quit on me. It just got upgraded to OSX 10.5

I watch BD on my PC attached to the TV via DVI-HDMI cable. Cyberlink PowerDVD Ultra running on Windows XP Pro.

Mostly works well, but occasional hiccups (last was cured by updating my video driver). Load times for movies are quite respectable.

I use xp-32 on my main system and vista-32 on a 2nd system. I don't have a bd drive for either yet but plan to get a bd burner (recorder) soon.

Opps, I click the wrong box. I use a MAC/Apple Operating system without BR Recorder/Reader, but I checked with BR Recorder/Reader. As soon as Apple releases a Mac with BR Recorder/Reader then the statement will be true.

OS X.5!!

....pretty much Linux for most things, predominantly Mandriva Linux & just upgraded my laptop & desktop to v2008.0. Have still retained the ability to boot into Windows on a rare occasion on both units, in this case, WIn_XP.

On which computer? I'm a sucker for electronics. I have computers still using Windows 95/98/ME...then I have computers using XP/Vista...and again I have a couple of computers using MAC OS. It really depends on who I'm working with and what programs/peripherals I'm using.

winxp on 4 computers (2 desktops, 2 laptops), no BR recorder/player yet.

plan to upgrade one or two to vista maybe when SP1 comes out.

keep pondering linux or mac, but would miss my games too much.
