Default More screenshots of ps3

On www.ps3land.com, there is a gallery of new screenshots of the console. Looking carefully at the console, it appears that there is a small hinged flap on the front that will allow us to plug in a memory stick pro duo or compact flash card. There are new screenshots showing the new dual shock controller including a front image. Both console versions show only 4 USB ports down from 6 so if we want to charge seven controllers at one time, there are two options: 1) charge 4 controllers and then 3 controllers or 2) use a y-splitter cable with a USB plug. Anyway, enjoy.

Does anyone know where the hard drive is for the ps3. I couldn't see it from the screenshots, but I'm guessing that the hard drive is next to the disc drive. Does anyone know what the hard drive actually looks like? Maybe something like a removable hard drive you would use for your computer.

It's a standard Sata hard drive as far as I know. 3.5 inch I think....?

By all accounts you can pull it out, add your own. I'm planning on replacing it with a monster sata drive as soon as I get my PS3.

Can't imagine I'd ever want 7 controllers... Two will do nicely.

I think there are only four controllers. If there were seven the screens on the tv would be super small.

I think that seven controller idea would involve a sports game like NHL where six people play on two teams with 3 human players a piece and then the seventh player is the goalie. The tv screen isn't split 7 ways because seven is an odd number. Also, I hate to bring up bad news, but on the ps3land.com website, there is a possiblity that Sony is having mass production problems. The article didn't mention what the cause is but we may have preorders later then expected.

I cannot believe none of you guys thought maybe that the extra 3 Bluetooth connections are for Bluetooth Headsets or Mouse And Keyboard or other Bluetooth devices.

It says in the spec sheet that you can use up to seven controllers at one time. You could also use mice and keyboards as well.
